Kangana Ranaut Says There’s No Bad Blood With Saif Ali Khan

Early this year Kangana Ranaut spoke about how nepotism is prevalent in the industry and star kids get better launchpads and more opportunities than others. She also called filmmaker and producer Karan Johar the ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ – something he refuses to accept even though it is true.

The nepotism word became the biggest trending topic of the year with everyone giving their two-piece on it. From Shah Rukh Khan to Alia Bhatt to Kareena Kapoor Khan and every Bollywood person were asked their opinions on the same. Some vehemently denied it existed, some acknowledged and many actors and actresses from filmy families went on a spree how they’d worked hard and are surviving in the industry because of their merit.

Johar kept defending himself and even wrote open letters. He spoke ill of Kangana in various interviews, and even pulled an embarrassing act at the IIFA function in NYC this year. Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan joined him, each claiming they’re a product of their talent and not getting work because of their illustrious backgrounds.

After their act was condemned by the viewers and they were trolled for it on social media, Dhawan posted an apology. Saif, on the other hand, personally called up Kangana, apologised to her, and wrote an open letter asking others to not jump into the situation.

Now months after the incident the actress has revealed she is still friends with Khan and the incident hasn’t changed their equation. There’s no sourness between them and they’d laugh about it when they meet.

It’s good to hear Saif and Kangana are still friends inspite of Saif’s idiotic act. The pair became friends on the sets of their film Rangoon, that released earlier this year.
