Golden Globes 2017 Red Carpet: The Best Dressed

The award season has kicked in. Embellished gowns, high-slits and plunging neckline-d dresses, expensive pieces of jewelry, trendiest updos and makeup – are what we will see now.

Golden Globes – held this Sunday – proved to be a gala event. The biggest of names from the entertainment fraternity attended it. From Emma Stone to Heidi Klum to Reese Witherspoon to Meryl Streep – they all came in looking their best and competing to impress the fashion police. Below are some of the good and goodest of the red carpet dresses.

Lily Collins looked like a Disney princess in an embellished pink gown.

Felicity Jones wore a candy floss coloured Gucci number.

Emma Stone was clearly one of the biggest stars of the night. Her film La La Land won seven awards, including the Best Actress Award in a Comedy/Musical.

Pregnant, glowing and fashionable: that’s Natalie Portman.

Michelle Williams was the elegant diva in a Louis Vuitton number.

Mandy Moore looked ravishing in a Naeem Khan creation.

Jessica Biel (in Ellie Saab) looked sophisticatedly beautiful.

Priyanka Chopra was all golden in a Ralph Lauren dress.

Brie Larson knows how to impress the fashion police. She killed it in this red dress.

Jessica Chastain went blue – and fortunately it didn’t backfire.

Heidi Klum hasn’t had a good fashion phase in recent times but at the Golden Globes, she bounced back in a simple white dress.

Amy Adams chose a black Tom Ford dress for the award night.

Hailee Steinfeld in Vera Wang Collection looked straight out a fairytale.

Reese Witherspoon (in Atelier Versace) was the one of the best dressed of the night.
