VMAs 2016: Kanye West and Calvin Harris Pretty Famous, Taylor Swift Totally Snubbed!!

Taylor Swift’s life has become a total drama. And that too in a span of just one month. Her relationship with Tom Hiddleston is bombarded as a publicity stunt. She is accused of hiring professional photographers to click her candid moments with the actor and later sell them to big gossip sites. The couple is said to be faking a relationship for publicity and fame.

Her ex boyfriend, Calvin Harris has accused her of trying to sabotage him and end his career and “bury him like Katy Perry”. If that wasn’t enough, Kim Kardashian posted snippets of telephonic conversation between Taylor and Kanye talking about his controversial track Famous. In the said talk between the two artists, Taylor approves the lyrics and tells him to go with the best ones, which is totally in contrast with what she has been saying all these past months – that he didn’t tell her anything, didn’t call her, she knew nothing, and blah.

But with these videos the truth is out. Taylor is termed the biggest liar. Her life is facing the biggest crisis right now. Adding more salt on her wounds is: total snub by VMAs! Yes, it seems like VMAs has joined the anti-Taylor squad by giving zero nomination to the Shake It Off singer and many to her ex Calvin Harris and Kanye West.

Harris received three nominations,  including one for This Is What You Came For that Taylor helped write.

On the other hand, Taylor’s enemy-turned friend-turned enemy Kanye’s Famous is pretty famous at the award show. Famous is nominated in two of the biggest categories- Video of the Year and Best Male Video. Kanye is also touted to perform at the show. It would be interesting to see if he gives any shoutout to Taylor.

Beyoncé’s Lemonade received 11 nominations- the most this year. The album is alleged to be about her marital life, that is reportedly on rocks. Beyoncé and Jay Z have been hit with infidelity, marital problems and divorce rumours since years, but they have both always tried to portray themselves as a happy family.

Adele’s comeback album has been much appreciated and applauded. The singer received eight nominations.
